Introducing the Pride Bouquet – loud, proud, and bursting with a medley of colour – the Pride Bouquet is full of brightly coloured rainbow chrysanthemums. It's the perfect way to spread love in a medley of ways! Because for every bouquet sold, we make a donation of £1.50 to our charity partner, The Albert Kennedy Trust.
Pride Month and Beyond
Pride, equality, and promoting positivity is something we’re super passionate about here at Zing. During Pride Month 2021, rather than promoting the cause for one month of the year, we spent time to reflect and plan a sustainable way to provide support.
For us to get more information on key issues being faced by the LGBTQ+ community, and the organisations who are working to resolve them, we spoke to Pride @ Global, who introduced us to the Albert Kennedy Trust.
Who are the Albert Kennedy Trust?
The Albert Kennedy Trust supports young people who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment. They help them to find safe homes and employment, education or training, in a welcoming and open environment that celebrates LGBTQ+ identities.
After hearing that 61% of LGBTQ+ young people (who were happy to answer) felt frightened or threatened by their family members before they became homeless – we decided that this was definitely a charity and cause to get behind.
